Grand opening of the clamber stack

27 April 2017 (by admin)

The new clamber stack was opened and blessed. It was a lovely event and celebration.

On Friday 21st April our new clamber stack, the first of two new pieces of equipment was officially opened. It was a lovely event and the pupil's have been so excited to see the new equipment. We had received a grant from 'Awards for All' and a donation of £6,500 from our 'Friend's of St. Josephs' group. The new equipment is a great addition to our outside environment and each pupil will have the opportunity to use then during their time at St. Joseph's. The clamber stack is for Years 5 and 6 pupils due to its height but of course everyone will use it in time. The 'Friends of St. Josephs' cut the red tape and then Father Firth blessed the equipment. We are very thankful to 'Awards for All and our' Friends of St Josephs'. The Friends of St. Joseph's work extremely hard organising events and we are very grateful to all our families, parish and community who support these events to raise the funds that every child in school benefits from.
